1. HOLIDAY TENANCY
This agreement is made between us, the house owners and the applicant (named on the booking application)
on the basis that the house is to be occupied by the applicant and their named party for a holiday
for the specified period. The applicant must be over 21 years of age, and will have responsibility for the property,
and must have the authority to ensure that all members of the party observe these booking conditions.
2. RESERVATION
Once your requested dates are confirmed as being available, they will be held in the your name for 7 days.
If payment as outlined below is not received in that time we regret that the reservation,unless otherwise agreed,
will be cancelled.
3. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT
In order to secure your booking, we kindly ask you to pay an initial deposit of 25% of the overall value of the booking. On receipt of this, the dates will be blocked off the reservation calendar and an email receipt will be
sent to you. Payment of the remainder of the booking fee will need to be paid at least 8 weeks prior to the start
date of the booking. All bookings will also include an additional cleaning fee. Where a booking is made less
than 8 weeks before the start date, payment in full is required at the time of booking.
4. SECURITY DEPOSIT
At the time of paying the balance due, we will also require a refundable security deposit of £500 to cover
any serious breakages or damage to the property. This will be refunded 7 days after you have left the property and
everything is confirmed in good order.
5. CANCELLATION
Hopefully you will not need to cancel, however our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 50% refund of deposit and holiday fees paid will be refunded for cancellations made up to 7 days
before commencement of the booking.
- Bookings cancelled within 7 days of commencement will not be refunded.
6. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
In order to ensure the property is clean and ready for you on arrival, we kindly ask you to arrive after
3.00pm on your date of arrival and to vacate the property by 11.00am on your day of departure. So that we
can arrange for someone to be there to meet you on arrival, please let us know as soon as you can your expected
time of arrival.
7. ESSENTIALS INCLUDED
The property is fully equipped with all the comforts and facilities you will need to enjoy your holiday. Below
are some of the items we provide:
- Bed linen
- Towels
- Pool towels
- Hairdryers
8. WELCOME PACK
You will also find a welcome pack including: fresh milk, tea, coffee, sugar, French bread, butter, croissants,
fruit juice, wine, jam and condiments.
9. GENERAL HOUSE RULES
- Smoking is prohibited in the house.
- Pets - We regret that no pets are allowed.
- Suitable for children (2-12 years) - see advice below
- Not suitable for infants (under 2 years)
- No parties or events
10. TENANTS OBLIGATIONS
We would ask you to respect and take good care of the property during your occupation, maintaining
everything in the same state of repair as at the commencement of the holiday. Also, to use the property,
its contents, and other facilities provided, in a safe and appropriate manner ensuring that the property
is kept secure whenever it is left unoccupied.
- Please, when unsure, read instruction booklets before use of appliances
- Please leave the property clean and tidy and report any damage or breakages
- Please respect the property, surroundings, and neighbours.
11. LIABILITY
Please be careful around the property, garden, and land, and also when outside and using the pool.
Use of all facilites and grounds including the pool are entirely at your own risk.
We cannot take responsibiity for any of the following:
· - Any injury sustained by any person
· - Loss of, or damage to, any property brought onto the premises
· - Cars, which are parked at owner’s risk
· - Disruption of service from utility suppliers or due to adverse weather events.
12. SAFETY AND SECURITY
Although we do not wish to discourage children from enjoying Les Sources, parents wishing to bring
children, should be aware that the house is on the banks of the river and also has a large pond. Although
the river is only accessible by walking down a long path, and the river is quite shallow especially in the summer,
it does pose a risk for younger children who cannot swim. Caution needs to be taken in terms of keeping any eye
on them with regard to both the river, the pond and the pool.
13. USE OF THE POOL
The pool is not fenced in, but it has two immersion alarms should someone accidentally fall in. There is also a
life ring in the covered dining area.
When drinking or eating by the pool we ask you to use the plastic glasses, plates and other utensils provided
for your safety and to avoid the serious danger of broken glass entering the pool, which could result in the pool
having to be drained.
The pool is a vinyl liner pool which was restored in 2017. Although we understand that you need to protect
yourself and especially children from the sun, most sun protection lotions end up permanently damaging the liner.
They react with the UV light leaving an indelible brown stain around the edge of the pool which cannot be
removed and we respectfully ask you to shower before you enter the pool and apply sun protection afterwards.
The pool is regularly cleaned and chemically balanced for your stay. Please do not touch or adjust any of the
filtration, heating or clearing equipment on site. Please let us know immediately of any problems with the pool
during your stay.
14. USE OF THE BICYCLES
We provide 4 adult bicycles for your enjoyment whilst staying at the house. There are 4 helmets to use as well.
They are regularly inspected, however should you have any problems, please let us know immediately.
Their use is entirely at your own risk and we cannot take responsibility for any accidents or damage.
If taken off the premises, please ensure you take and use the bike-locks provided when leaving them unattended.
